During the process, the sugar cane fields produce quality sugar and have a high selling value. So that sugar products from Barbados can generate high profits. The Barbados sugar producers then developed several types of sugar products to add economic value to the processed sugar cane products. During the 20th century sugar, rum, and molasses were Barbados’ mainstays for profit.
